Three Questions. Every Leader Answers Independently.

  1. What work stays human-only? Not "strategic thinking." Be specific. Name actual tasks, decisions, or outputs your organization has decided will not be AI-augmented. What's the principle behind that decision?
  2. What work gets AI-augmented? Humans remain in the loop, but AI assists. For what tasks, specifically? At what point in the workflow does AI enter? Who decides whether AI output is good enough to use?
  3. What work becomes AI-primary? AI handles it. Humans review outputs rather than producing them. Which tasks? What verification does the human perform? What's the escalation path when AI output is wrong?

Framework 1

Culture as AI's Foundation

AI doesn't create your culture. It reveals it. Every deployment encodes your organization's actual values, not its stated ones. Culture is the variable AI can't override, only expose.

Where This Came From

Before that, I spent six years at Amazon Web Services: running the Southeast delivery organization, resetting the national practice, then serving as P&L owner for Healthcare and Life Sciences, where I orchestrated turnarounds for 20+ Fortune 500 clients and achieved 100% retention through engagements valued as high as $50M. Before AWS, I was recruited to transform a professional services firm's entire commercial model from transactional delivery to proactive partnership. I started at Microsoft running program operations for the Geospatial Imagery Group, managing a $135M project portfolio feeding Bing Maps and Search.
